About Dr. Yuehong (Maria) Chen Foley
Yuehong (Maria) Chen Foley has a doctoral degree in Counselor Education and Counseling Practice from Georgia State University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
She has published numerous research articles in the field of play therapy and child-parent-relationship therapy. She has given multiple presentations in national and international conferences about parenting and counseling.
She has been conducting parent-child-relationship training since 2002, and provided child counseling and teacher training in Gwinnett County Public Schools from 2003 to 2010. In 2008, she founded Responsible Child LLC.
She is a member of the Association for Play Therapy (APT) and the Georgia Association for Play Therapy (GAPT).
She is fluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin and Cantonese).
